How will this information be used? Quite simple. Every month or two, I will send out a newsletter giving you updates on events, bondage courses and anything else bondage related, e.g. great rope prices. If you chose to buy something or come on a course, great! It will help me keep this site free. You can opt out anytime and I promise I won't bombard you with spam. Not a lot to ask for one of the best free specialist bondage sites, is it? If you are not happy with that, use the Exit button or the Back button in your browser.

The objectives of this site are to:

  • Attempt to stimulate innovative bondage influenced by traditional Shibari/Kinbaku
  • To help newcomers to reach new levels of experience (see Tuition)
  • To exchange ideas and information
  • To document my journey into learning this skill

Please feel free to contribute information, articles and photos. I try to keep information accurate but It can be a bit of a minefield sorting out misinformation from information, so corrections are always welcome.

The site is not intended to be pornographic, although some images are certainly adult. Kinbaku is a combination of the erotic, sadomasochistic and artistic. The proportions will often vary according to the situation and the participants. Anyway, I hope the site will appeal to those who appreciate the art, rather than for 'one-handed' viewing. There are a lot of other very professional sites catering for the latter.

Spider web

I have just updated the galleries with some great new photos. Here is October Noire, left, the latest fly to be invited into my web. Once again, Osada Steve has allowed me to host a gallery of his fantastic work with Ageha, whose athleticism and facial expressions are always a joy. There is also a series, shot by Tony Shaw, of his wife, Honey, pictured far left.

I have just done the shoot for .Cent magazine with the incredibly talented photographer, Manuel Vason. .Cent provided a full creative team to bring into being my concept of bondage in zentai against a same coloured background. Thanks to their combined talent, a good idea became a great one and can't wait to show you the final results. It's all under wraps till March when the new edition of .Cent hits the stands. I hear I'm to share page space with such exalted company as Araki, so this should be a popular issue with kinbaku fans.

Due to demand, I now offer 2 hour evening classes on Tuesdays at 8pm. Hopefully, this will suit those who cannot make the Saturday courses. As I will be rotating the evening courses every six weeks or so, there will be an opportunity to catch up if you miss a class. The 'term' will comprise 4 lessons, which will equate to the one-day course. The next term now starts on Tuesday, 14 April. There's an article in Metro by Lisa Scott, who attended one of the classes.

There is an introductory scheduled for 18 March and an intermediate for 2 May.

Most courses have been selling out very quickly, so make sure you book early.

The London Festival of the Art of Japanese Bondage will be totally unique. We are keen to promote kinbaku (aka shibari/Japanese rope bondage) as an artistic inspiration, a performance art in its own right and as a means of erotic communication, whilst sharing knowledge about it and its cultural context. So far I've contacted a body caster, a ceramic artist, artists and numerous photographers, who all feature Japanese style bondage; hojojutsu experts; an international cast of bondage artists; shiatsu masseurs and an acupuncturist, kimono tying and tea ceremony experts etc. It's very exciting, every person I speak to seems to know somebody who can offer a new skill. Confirmations are rolling in daily. Apart from traditional style rope shows, there will be some interesting and unusual ones. We have been promised a blend of rope and butoh, zentai, plus suspension meets Jackson Pollock for starters...
